Gandzasar came out on top in the Kapan derby

The second round of the Armenian Premier League continues, featuring the Kapan derby between Gandzasar and Syunik.

Karen Avoyan’s side defeated the newcomers 3։1, securing their first victory of the current season.

In the 40th minute, Gandzasar took the lead through Artyom Avanesyan. In the 62nd minute, Armen Hovhannisyan equalized for Syunik.

Late in the game, Ethan Lizalda and Joao Adriano secured the victory for the hosts. Syunik suffered their second consecutive defeat at the start of the new season.
