Conference League․ Noah draws with Sion
In the first leg of the Conference League third qualifying round tie, Noah drew 2:2 with Sion at home.
In the 5th minute, Noah took the lead through Helder Ferreira, who confidently converted a penalty. Eight minutes later, the visitors responded through Winsley Boteli.
Minutes later, Gor Manvelyan put the hosts back in front. The first half did not end there, however. In the 20th minute, Sion’s Nias Hefti received his second yellow card and was sent off.
In the second half, Ilyas Chouaref scored the equaliser for the Swiss side. Noah also finished the match with 10 players, as Stone Mambo was sent off in the 65th minute.
The second leg between Noah and Sion will take place on August 13 in Switzerland.
