UEFA Champions League qualifying third round․ Ararat-Armenia beat Celje

In the first leg of the UEFA Champions League qualifying third round, Ararat-Armenia secured a 2:1 comeback victory over Celje.

The visitors opened the scoring in the 21st minute, with Svit Seslar converting a penalty. Before the break, the Yerevan-based club responded: in the 38th minute, Artur Serobyan scored from a free kick to level the score.

In the 70th minute, substitute Carlos França scored the winning goal for the reigning Armenian champions. The return leg of the tie will be played on August 11 in Slovenia.
