Conference League qualifiers. Alashkert held to a draw by Yelimay in first qualifying round

Alashkert began their UEFA Conference League campaign with a draw. Vahe Gevorgyan's side played out a 1:1 draw against Kazakhstan's Yelimay in the first leg of the first qualifying round at the FFA Technical Centre/Football Academy.

The visitors took the lead in the 60th minute through Arsen Ashirbek. Alashkert equalised four minutes from time when Davit Terteryan finished off a cross from Karen Nalbandyan.

The return leg will take place in Kazakhstan on July 16.
