APL. Urartu claim their first win of the season

The 3rd round of the Armenian Premier League has kicked off.

Urartu defeated Syunik 3:0 at home to record their first victory of the current Armenian Premier League season.

Miguel Cardoso opened the scoring in the 23rd minute. In the second half, Bruno Michel scored a brace for the Yerevan-based club. Last season’s top scorer confidently converted two penalties.

Robert Arzumanyan’s side now have 4 points and share 5th place with Pyunik. Syunik remain at the bottom of the table without a single point.
