Draws in Alashkert - Pyunik and BKMA - Sardarapats matches
The eighth round of the Armenian Premier League continues. In the central match, Alashkert hosted Pyunik in Abovyan.
In a tense and high-scoring encounter, the teams could not be separated as the match ended 3։3. Muise Adebayo Hussein, Karen Nalbandyan and Domi Jores Masumo scored for Vahe Gevorgyan’s side.
Pyunik’s goals were scored by Vitines Chimoio Joao Cuembo, while Iasonas Pikis netted a brace. He scored the decisive goal just seconds before the final whistle.
In the other match of the day, BKMA and Sardarapats also shared the points after a 1։1 draw. In the 90+5th minute, Krist Yann Lago scored an own goal to put the army side ahead.
One minute later, Hamlet Minasyan rescued a point for his team. Sardarapats are fifth in the standings with 12 points. BKMA are eighth with eight points.
