Historic achievement․ Ararat-Armenia reach UEFA Europa league League phase

In the second leg of the UEFA Europa League qualifying play-off, Ararat-Armenia secured a narrow home victory over Romanian side Universitatea Craiova, earning a place in the UEFA Europa League League Phase.

Manuel Tulipa’s side have become the first Armenian club to achieve such a feat. Sandro Lima scored the winning goal in the 90+8th minute.

As a result, the Yerevan-based club defeated the Romanian side 2-1 on aggregate. Ararat-Armenia will learn their opponents in the League Phase on August 28.
