APL. Ararat-Armenia and Sardarapat share the spoils

The fourth round of the Armenian Premier League has come to an end. In the final match, Ararat-Armenia hosted Sardarapat at the Republican Stadium.

The teams could not be separated, with the match ending 1:1. Zhirayr Shaghoyan put the Yerevan-based club ahead in the 6th minute. The 25-year-old scored his first goal of the current season.

Sixteen minutes later, Levon Petrosyan equalized for the visitors, scoring his third consecutive goal in the Armenian Premier League.

Following this result, Ararat-Armenia are second in the standings with 10 points. Sardarapat are sixth with 7 points after three matches.
