APL. Pyunik and Alashkert earn three points

Pyunik scored two unanswered goals against Ararat away from home in Matchday 4 of the Armenian Premier League.

Both goals came in stoppage time. In the 90+3rd minute, Gevorg Tarakhchyan put his team ahead. Minutes later, Vyacheslav Afyan secured the victory.

Following the win, Artak Oseyan’s side moved up to 7 points and currently sit fourth in the standings. Ararat are ninth with 3 points.

In the other match of the round, Alashkert defeated Gandzasar 3-0. Cesar Santos opened the scoring in the 28th minute.

In the second half, Karen Nalbandyan and Edgar Piloyan completed Vahe Gevorgyan’s team’s convincing victory.

Alashkert have 9 points and are third in the standings. Gandzasar are eighth with 3 points.
