Ararat-Armenia were stronger in the araratian derby

The Araratian derby between Ararat and Ararat-Armenia took place as part of Matchday 6 of the Armenian Premier League.

The match produced one goal, which proved to be the winner for Manuel Tulipa’s side. Sandro Lima found the net in the 47th minute.

Thanks to the three points, the reigning Armenian champions moved up to third place with 13 points, overtaking Pyunik. However, the Maroons have played one match fewer.

Ararat are 10th with 3 points.
