Alashkert beat Van in convincing fashion
The sixth round of the Armenian Premier League kicked off with the match between Alashkert and Van. The Yerevan-based side scored four unanswered goals against their opponents.
Domi Masumou was the star of the match. The Congolese forward scored a hat-trick, taking his tally for the season to five goals. He is currently the league’s top scorer.
In the fourth minute of stoppage time, Filip Edjike sealed the result. The victory took Vahe Gevorgyan’s side to 13 points, temporarily moving them into second place in the standings.
Van are still without a win and remain at the bottom of the table with one point.
