Ararat-Armenia draws with Universitatea Craiova

In the first leg of the UEFA Europa League qualifying play-off tie, Armenian champions Ararat-Armenia drew 1:1 away from home against Universitatea Craiova.

Ararat-Armenia took the lead in the 20th minute through Alexandros Malis. Thirteen minutes later, Nicşor Bancu equalized for the hosts, scoring the final goal of the match.

The second leg of the Universitatea Craiova–Ararat-Armenia tie will take place on August 27 in Yerevan.
