Ararat-Armenia suffer defeat to Torreense

In matchday 4 of the UEFA Europa League league phase, Armenian champions Ararat-Armenia suffered a 3:2 away defeat to Portuguese side União de Torres.

Karen Muradyan and Bruno Wilson scored for the Yerevan-based club. Both teams finished the match with ten men, as Jorge Aguirre of the home side was sent off in the 22nd minute, followed by Ararat-Armenia goalkeeper João Bravim in the 77th minute.

Manuel Tulipa's side suffered their fourth consecutive defeat and remain bottom of the league table without a point. Ararat-Armenia will play their next match on November 26, facing Austrian side Salzburg away from home.
