Alashkert beat Syunik by a large margin

The 10th round of the Armenian Premier League got underway with Alashkert securing a convincing 5:1 victory over Syunik in the opening match. Karen Nalbandyan scored twice from free kicks, taking his tally for the season to six goals.

Domi Masoumo, Momo Touré and Philip Ejike also got on the scoresheet, while Kobe Enning scored Syunik’s only goal. Following the match, Vahe Gevorgyan’s side sit fourth in the standings.

Syunik remain 11th with five points.
