FC Noah beats AEK

On August 6, the third qualifying round first leg match of UEFA Conference League between "Noah" and "AEK" (Greece) was held at the Vahagn Tumasyan Stadium in Abovyan.

Armenian Premier League runner-up conceded the first goal in the 22nd minute by Levi Garcia for the Greek team. Twelve minutes later, "Noah" equalizer was scored by Virgil Pinson. At the start of the second half, "AEK" put pressure, but none of their attacks were successful. "Noah" responded with a remarkable goal by goalkeeper Ognjen Cancharevic from his own side, followed by a third goal from Gonzalo Gregorio in the 8th minute of added time, making the final score 3:1.

"Noah" will play the away match of the third qualifying round in Athens on August 15.
