Ararat-Armenia advance to the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League

Ararat-Armenia have advanced to the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.

Manuel Tulipa's side suffered a 2-1 defeat to Shamrock Rovers in Dublin but progressed to the next round by winning the tie on aggregate. Sandro Lima scored Ararat-Armenia's only goal of the match.

In the third qualifying round, the Yerevan-based club will face Celje. The Slovenian side eliminated Albania's Egnatia to book their place in the next round.

By reaching this stage, Ararat-Armenia have also secured at least a place in the league phase of the UEFA Conference League.
