“Alashkert” secured a Conference League spot, while “Ararat” and BKMA shared the points
In the final, 27th round of the Fastex Premier League, “Alashkert” defeated “Shirak” and secured a place in the UEFA Conference League.
The scoring was opened in the 5th minute by an own goal from Aleksa Vidić. Twenty minutes later, Yaroslav Matyukhin doubled “Alashkert’s” advantage.
Thanks to this victory, Vahe Gevorgyan’s team finished in second place with 53 points.
“Ararat” and BKMA could not determine a winner, exchanging one goal each. Davit Harutyunyan’s goal for BKMA was answered by Kalifala Mamadou Doumbia for “Ararat.” He successfully converted a penalty kick.
“Ararat” moved level on 13 points with “Shirak” and, thanks to superior tiebreakers, climbed to 9th place. The Gyumri side finished the season in 10th place, while BKMA ended in 7th place with 23 points.
